
New store brings jobs, fresh food options, and community grant opportunities to Pickaway County.
CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — A new Dollar General Market has officially opened its doors on Ohio 159, bringing expanded grocery options including fresh produce and meats.
The store is expected to employ between 10 and 15 workers, adding jobs to the local economy. A grand opening celebration is scheduled for 8 a.m. on Aug. 23, with giveaways for early shoppers.
In addition to retail expansion, the company’s literacy foundation is offering grant opportunities for schools, nonprofits and libraries within 15 miles of the new location. The foundation has distributed hundreds of millions of dollars nationwide since its launch in 1993, supporting millions of learners.
