PICKAWAY COUNTY, OHIO - The Circleville Police Department handled 35 calls for service on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Officers responded to a range of incidents throughout the day, including traffic crashes, thefts, domestic disputes, and multiple extra patrols around town.
Overnight hours began with routine extra patrols on West Main Street, North Court Street, East Franklin Street, East Circle Lane, and West High Street — all of which checked okay. Around 12:31 a.m., officers responded to an injury crash on East Main Street, where a citation was issued. A short time later, a 911 call on Timberline Drive was determined to be accidental.
At 7:24 a.m., first responders were dispatched to Lancaster Pike for another injury accident, with one person transported to the hospital. Later that morning, police handled a non-injury crash on South Washington Street, took a fraud report from West Main Street, and investigated an alarm drop on Northridge Road — all resolved without further issue.
Around midday, a probation complaint on Renick Avenue resulted in officers being unable to locate the subject. A parking complaint on Springhollow Road required no report, while a well-being check on East Ohio Street checked okay. Additional calls included a vehicle repossession on South Court Street, a theft on South Scioto Street, and threats/harassment on North Pickaway Street.
Fire crews were called to Pontious Lane for a report of fire, which was cleared. Officers later investigated a juvenile complaint on 3rd Avenue, a dirt bike/ATV complaint on South Scioto Street, and a non-injury accident on West Main Street that led to a citation being issued.
During the late afternoon, a traffic stop on South Washington Street resulted in an arrest, while a domestic disturbance on East Main Street led to a report being filed. Police also took a theft report from U.S. 23 and assisted with fire-related calls on North Pickaway Street and U.S. 23, including a mutual aid request for the Chillicothe Fire Department.
The evening ended with officers taking an assault report on South Scioto Street and responding to domestic trouble calls on North Court Street and Town Street.
