Crews respond to morning blaze with heavy smoke and flames; extra help called in as fire spreads through structure.
BAINBRIDGE, Ohio — At approximately 9:04 a.m. Saturday, the Bainbridge Fire Department responded on automatic aid to a report of a structure fire in the 13000 block of Lower Twin Road.
When crews arrived, they found a two-story single-family home with heavy smoke and fire showing. Firefighters made an aggressive interior attack to extinguish the main body of fire.
An extensive overhaul was required to expose fire extension and ensure the blaze was fully contained, prompting an escalation of the alarm.

No firefighter or civilian injuries were reported.
Fayette County Box 65, South Central Power Company, and the Ross County Sheriff’s Office also assisted at the scene.
Bainbridge Fire officials commended all firefighters and mutual aid units for their quick response and teamwork in containing the fire.
