Woman wounded as shooter remains on the run
COLUMBUS, Ohio — A woman was shot Sunday evening on the city’s east side, and police say she is expected to recover.
Officers were called to the 4000 block of Laraine Court around 8:15 p.m. on Aug. 31 after reports of gunfire, according to the Columbus Division of Police. Responding officers found an adult female suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition and is expected to survive her injuries.
No suspect information has been released, and no arrests have been made.
