‘Say Boo to the Flu’ tour rolls through Ross County with pop-up clinics offering shots before flu season sneaks in
CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Ross County Health District is once again hitting the road with its mobile vaccination unit, offering residents a chance to get their annual flu shots at convenient community sites throughout October and November.
The campaign — themed “Say Boo to the Flu” — will make stops at schools, township halls, and other public gathering spots. Health officials said most insurance plans are accepted. For those without coverage, the cost is $30.
The district said the goal is to make vaccination more accessible in rural and township areas while keeping flu activity low as the colder months arrive.
